Just lately, Denny has signed a contract with a publishing company in York, Pennsylvania to market his artwork on printed product for in the gift shops of some of the largest National and State Parks in the country. Most of his artwork will appear on souvenir items, coffee mugs, steins, etc.
Denny is also presently negotiating an agreement with another company in Portsmouth, Virginia to market his Western and Civil portraits on a line of T-shirts and possibly other wearables. He has a prominent Civil War magazine every interested in marketing them as well and has been working closely with these companies to make his portraits more "market-ready" to actually "say something" to the buyer than just a straight portrait, unlike a piece of art that would be for straight sell as an original or a numbered print.
"Commercialized" if you will. Denny has spent many hours coming up with a short, but informative bit of information, along with a "photographic element" that goes with each piece. He did faded background treatments so they do not look too "boxy" in appearance for on a T-shirt. Hopefully, his art will "breath" with the material, which is more desirable on wearables.

Here are a few shots of the first "strike-off" that was sampled here in
Clearwater, Florida. The "Custer" piece was sampled first.

This is Jorge Rico Montes, screen print operator putting the Custer piece sample in motion.

The Final

The artist discusses the details with Gayle Pfeiffer and Ted Conte, owner of Clearwater Graphic Works here in beautiful Clearwater, Florida. As a screen printer himself for over 35 years, the artist was nothing short of impressed with the final results, as you should be also.....
